Frozen Iced Tea Bouquet

This one is so simple, so quick, so easy, calorie-free, and they work great for parties, get-togethers, snacks… It’s not by any means a new concept, but it is a beautiful way to present them!

Ingredients:

Starbucks Tazo Passion Iced Tea bags

Water

Fresh Mint

Supplies:

Small plastic cups

Barbeque skewers

Water pitcher or vase

Fill cups with about an inch of water. Place tips of mint in the water, facing down. Place in the freezer until frozen solid.

Make the iced tea. Follow instructions on the box for the amount of tea bags needed, etc. You can add sugar to sweeten the tea, lemon juice, etc. to taste. I like the tea as-is. Feel free to make the tea well in advance, since it needs to be cold for the next step.

When the water in the cup is frozen, fill the cup about halfway with tea.

To add the sticks, cut the sharp tip off the skewers with scissors. Quickly put saran or cling wrap on top of each cup and secure with a rubber band. Stick skewer through the center. Place in the freezer till frozen solid; usually overnight works best.

Remove frozen pops from cups and arrange in a vase or water pitcher with ice water, fresh mint, and some flowers such as bee balm or salvia. Serve immediately, and enjoy!
