How to bake fish in parchment:
Good morning everyone! I’ve cooked up another video for you…
Why? Because I believe it is my civic duty to teach you things that you may or may not already know about cooking and baking! And this little trick is so easy, so healthy, and cuts your cleaning up time to almost nothing. I brought in a special guest this time to help me show you how to bake fish in parchment paper, and of course my dear little Cupcake is in there too
How to Bake Fish in Parchment
Here is the post with the exact recipe: Parchment Baked Halibut
Have you ever baked fish in parchment?

Alright, that looks way too easy! I think I’m going to try this out myself this weekend. I think my husband would really love it!
Thank you for the “eye candy”, too! What a handsome man
And Cupcake is too cute, as usual. She’s very good at her tricks! Can she roll over?
Thank you
No, Cupcake can’t roll over… Apparently that’s not a natural ability of a pig. However, a couple of times she has been unsuccessful at jumping up on the couch and has rolled over due to sheer velocity.
I love this new episode! Great recipe, handsome assistant, perfect music and production.
I have plenty of parchment paper, thyme and sage in the garden, all the other ingredients except the fish as well as my sweetie to share it with and the pets to do the tricks. We may have this tonight for dinner!
Thank you!
By the way, Rachel, what is the side dish you served with the fish? Also, Gomez the parrot really liked the show. He was laughing and talking as he watched you cook.
Oh my goodness! You are TOO CUTE! I read your bio and your pig is also adorable. I have never seen a pig so cute!
Thank you so much! Yes, I have to admit, and I swear I’m not bias… Cupcake IS the cutest pig in the world!
Yummy! I’m definitely making this for dinner tonight! Cupcake, as always steals the show, and your handsome assistant chef is welcome to make another appearance! Keep up the good work!
I’m perfectly OK with Cupcake stealing the spotlight, she’s the cutest
I hope you tried it and loved it! Nick is slated for a few more episodes, so you’ll definitely be seeing more of him
Rachel, every episodes is getting better so nice to see your personality shine through. Delicious recipe and perfect for a Valentine candle light dinner
Thanks, Bam! Actually, a Valentine candle lit dinner is exaaaaaactly what I used it for… Stay tuned for Episode 3
I just have to report that we had this for dinner last night. I substituted the halibut with cheap frozen hake from TJ’s and used persian lemons instead of regular lemons. It was Fabulous!
The fish was tender and so flavorful (no one would have guessed it was frozen..or even hake for that matter). The sage gave a surprisingly fresh taste to the fish. Thank you again, Rachel.
Thank you for trying it out, Gail! It has quickly become on of my favorite dishes, and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! The side dish in the video is “Beet of My Heart Ravioli”. The recipe will be up soon!
I never cook fish at home, but I plan on trying this one out. it looks, so delicious and easy to prepare. I love cupcake, also great eye candy!
It is SO easy. The best part is, it doesn’t leave your kitchen with a fishy smell like a lot of seafood dishes do. And it tastes amaaaaazing!
I don’t know why everyone is fawning over that man. The true eye candy is on the left!
Again… >blushing< … thank you
This fish looks delicious. And eye candy is right!
