Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Frozen Yogurt Drops

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Frozen Yogurt Drops. chocolate peanut butter banana frozen yogurt dropsMy original Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Drops were such a huge hit that, naturally, I started thinking about other flavors to make them in. The possibilities really just go on and on, but I was really dedicated to not compromising on healthiness and/or creaminess of the drops. Part of what makes them so amazing is that they just melt in your mouth and burst with flavor!

These are higher in carbs and sugar than the originals, but only because of the addition of the banana. Seeing as they’re completely natural carbs and sugar, I don’t see that as a bad thing at all. And the banana’s added sweetness takes away any need for stevia or other sweeteners. The cocoa completes the trifecta of delicious flavors that’ll drive the cheeky monkey in you crazy.

These are still packed with protein, and quite filling. I can eat 5 of them and feel perfectly satisfied, keeping my hunger at bay until meal time. And I mean, come on… Chocolate… peanut butter… bananas? How can this possibly go wrong?!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Frozen Yogurt Drops

  • 1/2 Cup Plain Nonfat Greek Yogurt
  • 1/4 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

In your blender or food processor, mix together all ingredients until smooth and creamy.

Transfer mixture into a piping bag and chill in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.

Using the star tip, pipe dime-sized yogurt drops onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes and transfer to a ziploc bag or sealed container.

Store in the freezer between snacking 😉

There are so many possible flavor combos for these things, it’s easy to get carried away and overlook one or two 😉 Buuuutttt, I love chocolate. It’s all I think about for a few hours per day 😛

I just popped these into the freezer. I made mine bigger than a dime, so I may have had close to 50 little drops. This was perfect as it is my boyfriend’s birthday. He’s training for a marathon, and I thought it would be a shame to go without something sweet on your birthday. These will be perfect. 🙂

Oh I’m so glad he’s not totally missing out on something sweet for his birthday! What a thoughtful gift 🙂 I hope he enjoyed them. I’m quite fond of them myself 😉
