Vegan Gelatin with Chia Seeds

Vegan tropical flavored gelatin snacks made with agar agar and chia seeds!
Ingredients
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Tbsp Agar Agar Flakes
  • 1 Packet Crystal Light Pure Tropical
  • 1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds (optional)
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan with lid over medium-high heat, bring water and agar agar flakes to a boil, stirring occasionally. Lower heat and allow to simmer for about 5 minutes or until the agar agar flakes have dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and add Crystal Light, stirring it in well. Pour into 2 trifle cups, little ramekins, or into a glass pyrex baking dish. Add chia seeds (separate the Tbsp. into equal servings).
  3. The chia seeds will sink to the bottom. In order to get them to suspend in the gelatin, allow it to cool slightly, then add a couple of ice cubes and stir. As the mix cools further the chia seeds will become suspended. Place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
