Ingredients
Tuna Tataki Rolls
  • 6 oz. Sashimi Grade Ahi Tuna
  • ¼ Avocado, sliced
  • ¼ Cucumber, sliced into sticks
  • ⅛ Cup Alfalfa Sprouts
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Creamy Ginger Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ¼ tsp. Soy Sauce
  • ⅛ tsp. Garlic Powder
  • ¼ tsp. Fresh Grated Ginger
Instructions
For Tuna Rolls:
  1. Prepare vegetables and set aside.
  2. On a hot skillet over high heat, quickly cook tuna steak about 2 minutes each side until just seared on the edges. Remove from heat.
  3. Slice tuna into long strips. Place one piece of avocado, one piece of cucumber, and a pinch of sprouts into the center of each strip and wrap the strip around the veggies, securing through the center with a toothpick. Set up on a plate and sprinkle with fresh ground black pepper to taste.
For Creamy Ginger Sauce
  1. In a small dish, mix together all ingredients until thoroughly blended. Serve with the rolls in a dish, dolloped on the plate, or you can warm it up for about 15 seconds and drizzle it across the top of the tuna rolls for a nice presentation.
  2. Serve with pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce on the side (optional).
