Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Smoothie

This Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond Smoothie recipe is packed with antioxidants, protein, probiotics, and even fiber. Great for a dessert or post-workout meal
Ingredients
  • ½ Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • ½ Cup Frozen Dark Sweet Cherries
  • ½ Cup 100% Pure Cherry Juice
  • ½ Cup Water (or more to desired consistency)
  • ½ tsp. Pure Almond Extract
  • 2 Tbps. Raw Cacao Nibs
Instructions
  1. In a blender, Magic Bullet, or food processor, blend together cherries, yogurt, juice, water, and almond extract until thoroughly blended. Add more water if necessary for consistency.
  2. Add cacao nibs and blend again for about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
  4. Tip: As an alternative to a smoothie, this can also be made with less water so that it's a nice thick yogurt snack to be eaten with a spoon. You can even chill it in the freezer for 2 hours and enjoy it as a frozen treat!
