These fun and festive brownies are perfect for using up chocolate Halloween candy in a creative and delicious way!
Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Coconut Cream (available at Trader Joe's. Can substitute melted, unsalted butter)
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • ½ Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • ½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1-2 Cups Chocolate Halloween Candy, cut into pieces
  • 1 Cup Crushed Oreo Cookies (creme centers removed) for garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. In a large bowl with a mixer, mix together Coconut Cream and both sugars until creamy. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla. Add cocoa.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Add candy.
  5. In a 9x13 glass baking dish, place a piece of parchment paper perpendicular to the pan for easy brownie removal. Spread the brownie mixture evenly.
  6. Place in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  7. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before pouring Oreo crumbs evenly on top and serving or transferring to decorative platter.
Notes
Choose chocolate candies that go well with each other. Additional candies to use can be things like marshmallows and candy corn. Steer clear of fruity candies.
