Cinnamon Nutmeg Snowball Cookies

Traditional Christmas Snowball Cookies, Russian Tea Cakes, or Mexican Wedding Cookies, with a cinnamon nutmeg twist.
Ingredients
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • ½ Cup Powdered Sugar (plus ½ cup for rolling in after baking)
  • 2¼ Cup All Purpose Flour
  • ¼ tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1 Cup Chopped Pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Cream together butter and ½ Cup Sugar. Add salt, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Add Pecans and mix through.
  3. Roll into Tablespoon-sized balls and lay out on a cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake for 12-14 minutes until bottoms are slightly golden.
  5. Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar. Set aside.
  6. When all cookies have cooled completely, roll once more in powdered sugar for that lovely snow-dusted look.
