Tomato Avocado & Vegemite Grilled Cheese Sandwich

An all-American sandwich with an Australian twist.
Ingredients
  • 2 Slices Whole Grain Bread
  • 1 Slice Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Medium Tomato, sliced
  • ½ Avocado, sliced
  • ½ -1 tsp. Vegemite
  • A little bit of butter
Instructions
  1. Butter one side of one piece of bread. On a grill or skillet over medium heat, place one slice of bread, butter side down and lay cheese on top.
  2. As this piece toasts and the cheese melts, assemble the other half of the sandwich by buttering both sides of the bread, then spreading Vegemite on one side.
  3. Lay tomato slices on top of the Vegemite side and avocado slices on top of that.
  4. When cheese melts, place that piece of toast on top of the assembled half and lay the uncooked half on the skillet to toast.
  5. Allow to cook until that half is toasted as well. Remove from heat, slice as you like, and enjoy!
